Papermaking wastewater mainly contains fine suspended fiber, paper-making filler, waste paper impurities and a small amount of pectin, wax, sugar, and various organic and inorganic compounds added during the papermaking process. The main problem to be solved in the reuse of such wastewater is to remove solid suspended solids (SS) and COD, and flocculant is added during the treatment to improve the treatment efficiency and reduce the production cost.
Papermaking wastewater cod treatment method
1. Removal of COD by adsorption: The particulate organic matter and color in the sewage can be adsorbed by active adsorption materials such as activated carbon, macroporous resin and bentonite. Can be used as a pre-treatment to reduce the COD that is easier to handle.
2. Microbial removal of COD: The biological method is a wastewater treatment method that relies on microbial enzymes to oxidize or reduce organic molecules, destroying their unsaturated bonds and chromophore groups, thereby achieving the purpose of treatment. Due to its rapid microbial growth rate, strong adaptability and low cost, it has been widely used in the treatment of scouring wastewater in recent years.
3. Chemical removal of COD: Decomposition of organic matter by oxidation of chemical agents. The organic matter under this method has high decomposition efficiency and fast processing time. Generally, the agent is directly used in the water outlet, and the process is not changed, no equipment is needed, no Excessive and cumbersome operation, depending on the concentration, different dosages can control the concentration of COD.
The papermaking wastewater mainly includes pulping sewage and recycled paper sewage. According to the water quality and quantity of each section, the pulping wastewater treatment process adopts “anaerobic + aerobic” treatment, such as “hydrolysis acidification + contact oxidation” method.
The recycled paper wastewater treatment process uses a combination of physicochemical and biochemical methods, such as the "air flotation + A / O" method
For different water quality, different treatment requirements and terrain requirements, different treatment processes can also be used.
